While working in the corporate world for over 30 years, Tony came to realize the most important aspects of life were: self-development and realization, health (physical and mental well being), and promoting overall wellness in others.Tony had already been involved in assisting and mentoring others. He counselled children and families for years through various state programs/facilities; taught and trained neurologically and cognitively impaired children and adults, as well as non-impaired children and adults at the Twin Dragon Kenpo Karate Studio; and coached at the Special Olympics in the summer of 1994 through the Speech and Language Development Center, Buena Park, California. Tony realized he was on the right path to achieve his personal goals by assisting others to obtain their achievements and reach their maxium potential mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He returned to college, earning a BA in psychology. He then attended Massage School and earned certification as Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner. He became initiated and certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing. Tony continued pursuing his education in the field of alternative and complementary therapies and earned a certification in Holistic Wellness. In 2002 Tony Giuffreda founded Total Life Care in Orange County, California. Tony has been teaching Reiki to both new students as well as students of other Reiki styles since 2005. He has been teaching Reiki for the past several years at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California which is included in both their Holistic Wellness and Massage Therapy programs. He has committed himself to helping those who could not find help elsewhere by using effective natural and complementary transformational healing therapies. He is also a Certified NLP Coach and Practitioner, Hypnotherapist and Time Line Therapy Practitioner using these skills as an effective Transformational Coach. >Tony holds the following degrees and certifications:
